Bandile Gumbi is the Head of Market Photo Workshop. With over 20 years of experience in the arts, culture, and creative industries, mainly in South Africa, but has worked with organisations and artists in other parts of the world. Bandile is not new to the Market Photo Workshop as she previously held the position of Manager: Programmes and Projects.

Khona Dlamini is currently the Market Photo Workshop’s manager for Programmes and Projects. She was previously the manager of the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Programme for the same institution.

Naledi Mkupa

She started doing photography in 2016 and completed both Foundation and Intermediate courses at the Market Photo Workshop and in 2018 completed the Advanced Programme in Photography.

A Graduate from the University of Limpopo where I earned a Bachelor of Information Studies degree in 2023. I’m currently a passionate library assistant intern at the Market Theatre Foundation Special Library.

Tsepo Gumbi is a South African photographer. His documentary work focuses on stories and issues that are uniquely South African. He received his photography education from the Market Photo Workshop.

Zegugu Ngemntu

Zegugu Ngemntu

Zegugu Ngemntu is a dynamic commercial photographer from Boipatong, a township in the Vaal. Passionate about visual storytelling, she honed her craft at the Vaal University of Technology, earning her National Diploma in Photography in 2017, completing her studies in record time.
