Joburg Photo Umbrella at The Photo Workshop Gallery
The Photo Workshop Gallery at the Market Photo Workshop will be hosting projects, which have been initiated through the Joburg Photo Umbrella. The Photo Workshop is proud to be the organizing partner of the Joburg Photo Umbrella, the first public photography-specific programme in the city of Johannesburg to bring together and network a wide range of photography content, exhibitions, activities and dialogue.

Book Launch

A project by Zanele Muholi documenting the Black Queer and Transgender community over a period of 8 years (2006 – 2014). In line with Muholi’s gender activism, this photography book is an active protest against the invisibility of Black Queer and Transgender South Africans.
