My Joburg: the Market Photo Workshop at La Maison Rouge Gallery

The Market Photo Workshop is exhibitiong My Joburg: Short Change, at La Maison Rouge Gallery in Paris in 2013.

The exhibition opens on 19 June and will run until 24 September.

The Photo Workshop will feature an exhibition within the exhibition. My Joburg by La Maison Rouge continues the series of exhibitions focusing on the arts scene in major provincial cities. After My Winnipeg (Manitoba, Canada), an exhibition presented during the summer 2011, the second of the cities will be Johannesburg. The exhibition runs as part of the Seasons South Africa 2012 / 2013 in France.

Within this exhibition is My Joburg: Short Change, a photography exhibition of work by students and alumni of the Market Photo Workshop. The works on exhibition are all explorations of the dynamism and ever shifting landscape that contemporary photography and society posits for young photographers today.
